Notice of Public Meeting: 2020 Walkley Road and 2935 Conroy Road Site Plan and Zoning Application

The City of Ottawa’s Planning, Infrastructure and Economic Development Department has received an application for a Site Plan Control Proposal and a Zoning By-law Amendment to permit the development of three new warehouse buildings at the municipal addresses known as 2020 Walkley Road and 2935 Conroy Road.
The plan includes the construction of three new warehouse buildings to be completed in three phases, and the demolition of the existing buildings. The site is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Walkley Road with Conroy Road, and is a single parcel with two municipal addresses under the same ownership. Warehouse 1 will have a gross floor area of 8,441 m2, warehouse 2 will have a gross floor area of 8,450 m2, and Warehouse 3 will have a gross floor area of 7,650m2. More information can be found by visiting here.

I am concerned with both the traffic impacts on this busy commuter route as well as the compatibility with the existing businesses in this high-end business park.

I invite you to attend a public information meeting where the applicant will present the application to the community. Please join us to learn more about this application and the potential impacts it will have on the surrounding neighbourhoods on:

Thursday, May 20th, 2021
6:00-7:30 p.m.
*Please note that this meeting will be held virtually using Zoom*

Register Here.
