The City of Ottawa’s Planning, Infrastructure and Economic DevelopmentDepartment has received an application for a site plan control proposal and zoning bylaw amendment for the construction of a storage facility at the municipal address 3455 Hawthorne Road.
The new four-storey facility will have a total building footprint of approximately 3600m2and have right-in/right-out access onto Hawthorne Road. The applicant is seeking a reduction in front yard setback from 7.5m to 4.6m, reduction in required parking from 123 spaces to 22 spaces, and a reduction in bicycle parking from 10 spaces to 8 spaces.
Both the applicant and City Staff will be presenting this application followed by a Q&A session at the monthly Hunt Club Park Community Association meeting being held on Tuesday, January 26that 6:30 p.m. Please note that this meeting will be held virtually using Zoom.
