Canada Post Parcel Box Pilot Project

Canada Post has recently notified my office that they will be adding new parcel compartments to two existing community mailbox sites in the Gloucester-Southgate Ward.

These new parcel compartments will serve approximately 61 households, that are located at the side of 2 Clifford Private, and 72 Welsh Private, in the Hunt Club Park neighbourhood.

This will be part of a pilot project that Canada Post will be implementing to better serve their customers, and to continue delivering parcels safely and securely to a locked compartment that is close to their customer’s home.

Residents who access their mail at these sites will continue to use the same mailbox and keys they do today, as there will be no change to their mail delivery. Canada Post will be sharing information and instructions with the affected residents to help them become familiar with the new parcel compartments and ask for their feedback to help them assess the pilot project and to improve their service.

If Canada Post customers have any questions, they are invited to contact Canada Post’s Customer Care team at 1-800-267-1177 or by email at parcel.locker@canadapost.ca.
