The City will be implementing a 40km/h gateway zone in the Upper Hunt Club neighbourhood. This new measure will address issues with speeding and provide a consistent speed limit throughout the neighbourhood, both issues I have heard from the community. These gateway zones will have clearly marked signage on access roads and will display where a zone starts and ends, all roads within the area will have a uniform 40km/h speed limit.
New signage indicating the speed limit will be posted at the entrances/exits within the community on both Sieveright Avenue and Sable Ridge Drive. Internal street signage will be removed to adhere to the uniform 40km/hr in the neighbourhood.
