On July 4, my team and I virtually took part in the Beau’s 5K for Ovarian Cancer Canada!

The event was started to support Ashley Courtois (Cowan) when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2015. Ashley was an avid runner who taught running clinics from the Stitsville Running Room. Beau’s, and the community of Vankleek Hill thought that the run would be a great way to support Ashley. Each year, the event has grown larger and larger, and the amazing part of this event is that Beau’s, through their great generosity, donates 100% of the race fees to Ovarian Cancer Canada on top of their generous donations.
The funds raised will be used to support Ovarian Cancer Canada’s resources for women living with the disease, education programs and research grants and programs.
With your generous support TEAM DEANS was able to surpass our goal of $2,500, for a total of $2,780!
Thank you to each and every one of you who donated to help fight this insidious disease.
