Everyone has a role to play in safety and well-being, and the City of Ottawa is seeking your feedback as we develop Ottawa’s Community Safety and Well-Being Plan.
The plan, which is required under the Province’s Safer Ontario Act, 2018, will outline strategies and actions to improve safety and well-being for everyone in Ottawa. But to ensure a successful plan, we’ll first need to hear from you about the best ways for residents, organizations and government to work together to address well-being and safety issues in our communities.
The City will be hosting multiple public meetings and you are encouraged to attend one of the following dates:
In addition to the in person meetings, staff will also be collecting both public and stakeholder feedback through our online survey on Engage Ottawa available at Ottawa.ca/CSWBP between March 3 and April 3.
Our team has also developed a Community Toolkit so community groups can host their own engagement event. To request this toolkit, please contact the CSWB team at CSWB/SBEC@ottawa.ca or 613-580-2424, ext. 42489.
